April 8: Meet “Stitch”

I was going to wait until November, when “EVE” (the Toyota Yaris you’ve seen until now) was finally paid off (early! because I pay back my loans with half the monthly payment every two weeks, which is tantamount to making an extra payment every year). But in light of the impending tariff wars I moved things up and decided to trade in sooner rather than wait. There was only slightly over $1K left to pay on the Yaris anyway.

Introducing my new 2025 Kia Soul S. I shall name it “Stitch.” It is the most technologically advanced vehicle I’ve ever had and the first one I’ve ever purchased new rather than significantly used. It means my car payment is now double what it was, but for the next years at least (given its warranty) I think it’s a good investment.

The folks at City Kia of Greater Orlando treated me very well without any pressure and got me in and out the door in short order. I owe one of the guys there a Disney jersey. 😉
